Who we are

Wyoming Tree Service Pros is a local tree company. We work one city, which means the crew knows the streets, the soil, and which neighborhoods are full of sixty-year-old silver maples on lots that were never sized for them. Everything we do is residential and small commercial tree work: removals, trimming, stumps, storm damage, and treatment for insects and disease.

How we quote a job

Someone comes out, walks the property with you, and looks at the tree in person. Tree work cannot be priced honestly from a photo, because the price depends on what is underneath the tree and whether a machine can reach it. You get a written number covering the work and the cleanup before anything starts, and that number does not change unless you ask for more work. Estimates are free and there is no pressure to book on the spot.

What licensed and insured actually means here

We carry general liability and workers' compensation, and we will send a certificate to you or straight to your insurance company on request. This matters more in tree work than in most trades. If an uninsured cutter drops a limb through your roof or gets hurt in your back yard, you are the one holding it. Ask anyone who quotes your tree for their certificate, including us.

How we leave a property

The job is not done when the tree is down. Brush gets chipped, logs get hauled or stacked as firewood if that is what you asked for, ruts get raked, and the driveway and lawn get blown clean. Plywood and mats go down before any heavy equipment moves across grass. If a neighbor's yard is involved, we talk to them first rather than after.

When we say no

We will tell you when a tree does not need to come out yet, and we will not sell you a treatment for a tree that is already finished. We do not top trees, because topping ruins a tree and creates a worse problem in about five years. And we do not cut oaks in late spring, because oak wilt is real in this county and a fresh cut in June is how it gets in. Those answers cost us work sometimes. They also mean that when we tell you a tree has to go, you can believe it.

How to reach us

Call (616) 612-2765 during business hours and you get a person, not a queue. Scheduled work is usually within a week. We also take storm calls in the middle of the night, so if a tree is on your house, that number is still the one to use.
